Simple Raw Food Tips!!

Here are some raw food tips taken directly from Judita Wignall’s Book, Going Raw,
on how to make raw food easy.

Once a week make:

  • One-two salad dressings that will last a week
  • Nut milk for smoothies or granola
  • One batch of hummus [or Victoria’s un-tuna recipe]
  • A couple snacks such as cheesy kale chips

Once a month make:

  • A double batch of flax crackers
  • One batch of Granola
  • One or two batches of Basic Raw Chocolate

Always keep lots of fresh fruit and vegetables around to snack on:

  • Collard greens to make veggie wraps
  • Ripe Avocados
  • Frozen Bananas for smoothies
  • Nut butters to spread on fruit
Bring dried fruit, nuts, fruit and/or veggie sticks to snack on with you!

Remember that making raw food takes some planning, so remember to plan ahead. I like to make my preparations for the week on my day off from work. Remember a little bit of effort = deliciousness for the rest of the week!

Have fun!
